Stage 2

The Beginning
A helmet, a book and plenty of attitude to go with it, that was the calling post The Spell at that tender age. The helmet came naturally but the book, well that was another story all together. Lets just say at that age, there was only one place you carried 'a book' to and that was just out of the sheer necessity needed at that point. Nothing else.

The Spell  just got stronger and stronger, as a result the desire to do more under this spell grew further every day. Soon the spell grew so strong, it was impossible to break free from it. Not a cure in sight nor another spell to break or alter the perception. But this could not be called slavery to the spell, nor could it be called succumbing the power of the spell.
The End

What it had changed to, was beyond his understanding at first, but soon he realized what it was making him do and think. But never once did he question this power, never once did he question the desire that was growing within him day by day. All that he could do was grow with this power, as it grew within him.

The Beginning
Addiction, that is what it had become. One that was so strong that he didn't even realize when he go hooked. Like a druggie waiting for his next ounce to take him places, this was a totally legal addiction that took him places, literally and figuratively. Any opportunity was excuse enough to get back to this addiction ever so often. Even if it meant it took him to places for no such purpose or sense, he took every opportunity. From near to far, no place seemed too far away. People thought this addiction would be the end of him but just like anyone like him at that age, he chose not to listen. And for a change that did him well. Like a direct shot to the brain, he went oblivious to the world around him every single time he indulged in this Addiction.

There came a time when he had to disassociate himself from the addiction and one can only imagine the withdrawal symptoms that followed. Despite the odds, the addiction was the most difficult to let go off and after a rather painfully long duration of rehab (literally, for his body needed it) the addiction could fade away quietly into the dark. So here he was again, back hand in hand with his Addiction, only this time around caution was the new lesson learnt.

The start of the Beginning

Stage 1

The introduction happened without a warning, without notice, without any hesitation. A brief thought "to be or not to be" crossed his mind, because he knew there would be no turning back after that. And sure enough there was not turning back after that. That was the "Stage 1" of his transformation from boy to "Motorhead", that was the start of  a sacred bond that he shared with what he still claims as mans greatest creation of evolution.

THE BEGINNING
The Automobile Engine (or the internal combustion engine) is a man made wonder that has captured the hearts and souls of millions of other "Motorheads" the world over. Size, space, power, displacement and torque are the magic terms that can get their hearts racing and imagination flowing, and flowing beyond their own reach and means. The power of this creation of evolution casts a spell on their minds, a spell so powerful, that it can be extremely mind numbing. As a result, sometimes it becomes a case on the motorheads being driven by these engines instead of the engines being driven by the motorhead. THE END

A position of power, a promise of freedom, the feeling of immortality are a few of the surges of thoughts and emotions that ran through his head, the very first time he was cast under this powerful spell. Size, space, power, displacement and torque meant nothing to him at this point, all that he knew was, he was experiencing something that was completely mind numbing. Something he had never felt before at this level of intensity. Yes there were a few times before where a mind numbing feeling had taken him over, but the cause was not 'The Spell'

THE BEGINNING
The Spell (or the start of an addiction) is a endorphin and testosterone fueled, mind and logic bending feeling that starts off with a bang for most motorheads and then escalates into a full fledged addiction. An addiction so strong, that even a change or slight deviation from this addiction causes adverse withdrawal symptoms. These symptoms vary from hallucinations (the motorhead dreams) to extreme desperation (the motorhead gives up hope and tries again) which never really ever end very well. The Spell normally does not ever lose its grip on the motorhead even when there is a need or a life changing decision, this can cause the spell to weaken, but never break. THE END

To be continued....
